What is chiropractic care?

What is a subluxation?

What conditions do chiropractors treat?

While chiropractic is not a treatment for specific conditions, many people see improvements in issues such as back pain, headaches, colic, nursing difficulties, sleep disturbances, digestive problems, and more after nervous system-centered care.

Chiropractic care focuses on your body’s ability to adapt and works to support your natural physiology and ability to heal.

What happens on my first visit?

Your first appointment begins with a warm, one-on-one consultation to review your health history, concerns, and goals.

Next, we perform a comprehensive evaluation—including spinal alignment checks, range-of-motion tests, and a neurological assessment—with on-site digital X-rays if clinically required.

At the end of this visit, you’ll receive a clear report of findings and we’ll schedule your first hands-on adjustment for your second appointment.

Will the chiropractic adjustments hurt?

Most people find adjustments comfortable and relieving. Dr. Megan uses gentle techniques to release tension in the nervous system.

Mild soreness can occur as toxins are released from the spine and tissues. However, staying hydrated after adjustments helps flush these toxins out quickly.

How long until I see results?

Everyone responds differently to chiropractic care. Some feel relief after the first adjustment, while others take several visits.

Healing is a process that takes time, consistency, and patience.

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes! Chiropractic is safe and effective during pregnancy. Dr. Megan is Webster certified and has advanced training in prenatal and postnatal care.

With specialized techniques, including pregnancy pillows and adjustable tables, care is tailored to ensure both safety and comfort for moms-to-be.

Why would a baby or child need a chiropractor?

The birthing process can cause stress on a baby’s nervous system, especially during long labors, medicated deliveries, or cesareans.

This trauma can kick a child’s nervous system into fight-or-flight mode, affecting sleep, nursing, digestion, and overall behavior.

Gentle adjustments address spinal nerve stress, promoting better health and development in infants and children.

Once I see a chiropractor, do I have to go forever?

Our goal is to restore and maintain optimal nervous system function. Many patients choose to continue with periodic check-ups for long-term health benefits.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a direct-pay practice, meaning we do not bill insurance.

This allows us to focus entirely on your care without the limitations of third-party involvement.

We are happy to provide receipts for potential reimbursement or FSA/HSA use.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, cash, and checks.

We also offer family plans and care packages to make wellness care affordable for everyone in your family.

I contacted them very worried about my baby’s positioning in preparation for birth, as my doctors had shared that my baby was breech. They welcomed me in for a visit that day with no hesitation, just genuine care for me and my baby. Not only have my visits with Dr. Megan been successful in helping my baby prepare for delivery, but beneficial to my overall wellbeing while pregnant. They have a drop table that I had never seen since my 1st chiropractic adjustment in 1982, which can be used on my neck.   My neck has been more relaxed since starting there.
